INTRODUCTION

Galdon Data is an Information Technology (IT) services company providing solutions for Business Process Automation and Unified Communications. This encompasses Information Capture, Business Information Delivery, convergence and document solutions using the Autonomy (Cardiff), AVST, Captaris and Microsoft range of products. Galdon Data has been a Microsoft partner since 1998.

We are accredited as a Certified Microsoft Gold Partner and we hold competencies for Information Worker and Data Management. As an AmVia Platinum Partner the company in the enviable position of being the largest CallXpress (Unified Messaging) and RightFax (Business Information Delivery) solutions Company, with the largest service market share, in Southern Africa. Many of those clients are serviced through our business partners. 

Galdon Data is a company boasting more than 35 highly skilled and certified staff members, with National representation in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Galdon Data is also a Black Empowered company with shareholding from Abnoba. 

SOLUTIONS

Unified Communication Solutions 

Microsoft's introduction of Unified Messaging support in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 marks the start of the third wave of unified messaging technology: robust, interoperable, server-based tools that integrate with desktop and mobile clients to give information workers access to voice, fax, and e-mail data from wherever they are and allows users to use the telephone to manage their email, calendar, and personal contacts.

Galdon Data’s experience extends beyond the implementation and/or support of 400 Unified Messaging (Voice and/or Fax) sites. Our experience with Unified Messaging implementation extends since 2000. Our widespread knowledge and practical experience with Voice Mail and Enterprise fax systems over the last 8 years has created a unique skill and competency in our Communication’s teams.

PBX Integration

Galdon Data’s extensive understanding of PBX systems and integrating voice mail servers, Enterprise Fax Servers and Exchange servers makes us the perfect partner to implement Unified Messaging by combining all of those systems into one Inbox in your exchange server. 

Voicemail Deployment

Our customers are successfully running Voice Mail and Exchange Integration for many years already. This functionality coupled with our experience will extend your Microsoft Exchange investment.

Electronic Fax Solutions

Our customers do not only rely on Enterprise Fax for Microsoft Exchange integration but also integrate the ERP, CRM, HR System and their Multi-Function Products to the Enterprise Fax solution. We have completed projects with Oracle, SAP, etc.

SharePoint Fax Integration

We have completed numerous projects that involve using Microsoft SharePoint Portal as a User Interface and allowing for Document interaction and routing.

Microsoft makes enterprise content management a key component of its new Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 platform, a solution designed to offer organizations an integrated, consistent way to control and protect documents, records and Web content from creation to archiving.

We have developed a unique Fax archiving and billing application to that allows for Interaction with RightFax documents (Images) to be managed with SharePoint Portal or SharePoint Services.

Forms Management

Our experience with Cardiff’s TeleForm extends in the General Services, Financial Services and Public sector customers. Galdon Data have successfully assisted many medium and large organisation to address the challenged of Paper based and electronic forms.

Automated Information capture

The “input” component of Galdon Data’s solutions offering refers particularly to the large scale automation of the primary data capture process, including both physical (Paper) forms and eForms solutions. This phase has a massive cost saving for paper, telecommunication and manual data capturing. We often experience a cost saving in excess of 75% of the operational budget.

Processing of Information

This essentially takes the captured information and provides the flow, tracking and validation of information. This ensures that information follows the correct business process and includes notification and escalation for items to be attended to. The data validation and cleansing is a critical part of this phase. The completed data is then integrated with Line of Business or BackOffice Applications like ERP, CRM, HR Systems, etc.

Business Information Delivery 

We place emphasis on extracting raw data from Line of Business applications like ERP, HR Systems, CRM, etc, and format the information to the required layout and media for delivery. The delivery takes place via E-mail, SMS, Fax and/or Web with secure encrypted delivery.

As Galdon Data’s solutions offering is expanded, these will be offered to Business Partners as bundled solutions for them to resell. Our skills extend to RightFax from Captaris, CallXpress from AVST, Microsoft Solution including SharePoint, Exchange Unified Communications and SQL Server and TeleForm from Autonomy (Cardiff).
