About smart tags
A smart tag is a type of button that provides choices for enhancing content and layout in Microsoft Office. Smart tag buttons appear when you perform certain tasks, such as pasting text or graphics and display a list of options when clicked.
Microsoft Outlook uses a smart tag called the Paste Options button. This button appears after pasting text, a graphic, or an attachment and provides quick and easy options for formatting your pasted item. | |
