Tips and Tricks - Microsoft PowerPoint 2007

Using PowerPoint 2007 and earlier versions

If you want to create, edit, and maintain tables by using both Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 and earlier versions of PowerPoint, avoid using some of the new features in Office PowerPoint 2007.

Apply only the No Style, Table Grid or No Style, No Grid table Quick Styles to your table in Office PowerPoint 2007.

To find table Quick Styles, under Table Tools, on the Design tab, in the Table Styles group, click More. No Style, Table Grid and No Style, No Grid appear under Best Match for Document.

Do not use a background fill as a shape for your table or apply a Quick Style with a background shape.

To find table Quick Styles that do not have background shapes that you can use, under Table Tools, on the Design tab, in the group, click the button. Under , use No Style, or No Style,
or use any of the Quick Styles under Light, Medium, and Dark.

Do not apply visual effects, such as reflections, shadows, or bevels) to any part of your table.

Do not apply a WordArt style to text in a table cell.

Do not change the orientation of your text by rotating it 90 degrees, 270 degrees, or by stacking it.
